Our Leadership

Central Presbyterian is led by a group of elders committed to shepherding the church with humility, biblical faithfulness, and a heart for people.

Rev. Chris Hartshorn
Chris has been planting churches for over 20 years. He began by starting Calvary Chapel churches in New York City and Lawrence, Kansas, then trained at Westminster Seminary California before planting within the Orthodox Presbyterian Church (OPC).

While serving full-time as the Regional Home Missionary for the OPC in Southern California, Chris is also leading the work of planting Central Presbyterian. He carries primary responsibility for preaching, teaching, and shaping the church’s mission from the ground up.

Elder Andres Czerwiak
Andres is a ruling elder at Trinity Presbyterian Church in Capistrano Beach and is graciously giving time and support to our church plant in Irvine. He has served as an elder for over 20 years.

Elder Skip Mac Lean
Skip is a ruling elder at Faith OPC in Long Beach and brings more than two decades of experience to the work at Central Pres.

Year-Long Intern Cliff Foster
Cliff joins us after graduating from Westminster Seminary California in May 2025. He and his wife, Bre, relocated to California from Michigan. Cliff will focus on outreach and evangelism and begin preaching at our Sunday evening services starting this Fall.
